Being new to Eastwood, I have taken the time to read the rules and the monthly board meeting minutes. Minutes Oct 09 - $320 discrepancy in payment to pool manager, still no answer. States President, V-P, and Treasurer authorized to sign checks and added Secretary. By-laws state only the President and the Treasurer are authorized to sign checks. Legal fees for 08-09 exceeded $2100, one frivolous lawsuit we could not win, one on-going over roof shingles.
Minutes Nov 09 - budget surplus of $7918.75 from 08 - 09 budget. This was after $25 special assessment for all residents, and squandering over $2000 on ridliculous lawsuits. Instead of slight reduction in dues to payback residents for overcharge, dues get raised to $260. Dead tree removal was to begin, nothing to date. What has happened to audit required annually?
Minutes Jan 10 - $500 authorized for tree removal, still nothing.
Minutes for March 10 and Adpridsl 10 not posted.

It's highly likely there will be a Special assesment coming to homeowners to pay for frivilious lawsuits. (The Special Assesment which may be in disguise.) oh say as the 2007 Ice storm, or diseased trees mentioned in the "Eastwood trails". According to Oklahoma county court records. The EHOA losted a resent case involving the non approvial of a roof in the neighborhood. Costing the Association $10,000 in damages plus court cost, and having placed and injuction and a restraining order against the EHOA. And I heard we have to have an architect on retainer how much does that? The only one making money is the lawers.
